Default STS v8 Turbo in a v6?

(see pictures below)

On my 2007 v6 coupe Ihave themagnaflow dual exaust cat back and a gt bumper (part of body kit) to go with a while back.

So now I have a dilemma I'm thinking about buying a STS turbo system however it replaces the back part of the exaust and the v6 turbo obviously expects a single pipe.

After looking at some of the pictures I'm thinking it might be possible to get rid of mag pipes and pop in the v8 turbo minus the plug that pops in the 2nd exaust pipe since I don't have that.

The main thing that might be an issue I think is the length of the turbo's pipes. My system is approximately 6.5 feet to the y pipe and 7 to the waist gate (I think it's called).

One more thought anyone know if these are set in place or bolted together? In otherwords I'd better be able to adjust the possitioning.

Lastly any thoughts on this system? Looks like it might put less stress on the engine compared to other standard supercharger and procharger systems.

Additionally it seems easier to install. I've already changed my exhaust once. The only change is an extra pipe that drops from the tailpipe to the engine up inplace of where the cold air intake.

Thoughts? Thanks

Can you tell me anything about how it's installed? I'm looking for the various images and datasheets now.

Thanks. I'm bout to send an email over to them and likely talk with them tommorrow.

I'm hoping to convince them to give me a discount being that I'm not going to get some of the items included in the kit (i.e. tuner I have an SCT Live Wire as is).

BTW difference between intercooled and non-intercooled?

Thanks

You would still need the custom tune file -

And Intercooled = cooler air temps = more power (without getting too technical)

I'm going to have to get it dyno tuned locally as I have a number of engine modifications in here that need to be accounted for. There's no way I'm loosing this livewire tuner it's awesome.

Then again you kind of have to get a dyno tune period with any turbos for best results. At least this is what I hear.

And Intercooled = cooler air temps = more power (without getting too technical)
Figured.

GMS Throttlebody
MMR Throttlebody Spacer (on order)
Haven't decided which I'm getting some new headers.
Magnaflow Dual Exhaust Catback
Steed CAI (will disapear with a turbo).

I can never seem to tremember all the mods let alone which ones I want. I'm sure I'll think of something I missed tommorrow.

Being that I keep finding things to modify I'm hoping that I can find a local dyno that will have the first tune cost and any later updates free or discounted. I know of a few that are quite the drive. [:'(]
