Mine's leather, came that way. I need to replace though, it's wearing out. I think I'm gonna order the FR500.

yeah i was going to get the fr500...slightly thicker than mine, but mine was just a brand new leather gt one...got it off ebay cheap for like $80 last year...look on ebay for new steering wheels, but DO NOT buy a used one, they say they have no wear but they do...i had to return one last year...
