trans question
Haha, a strong trans and ford dont go together. Yes there are re-build kits. I would put in a shift kit at the same time to reduce wear/help performance. Its a 4R70W/AODE by the way. But before you rebuild it may i ask whats wrong with it? http://www.oregonperformancetransmis...-P4700KLS.html
well the car is coming uparound 88,000 miles, and with the long awaited release of the m112 kit i plan on putting some power into the car and want to reinfourse the the tranny and rebuild and add a shift kit.
Honestly if you get on EBay, your tranny is cheap as hell. I see them for $100 all the time. Usually they jsut include them with the engines just to make them worth getting. A lot of them have very low miles too. You could pick up 3 spares for the cost of rebuilding yours, and if you blow one, you can yank out the shift kit and put it in the next one.
