what does engine pinging sound like??? im just curious bc i feel like ive been hearing stuff since i've installed my diablosport but it could just be all in my head[>:]

i uploaded the diablo tune and changed around a couple things but nothing major. just shift pressure and raised the RPM's when im in drive...

and im still putting in 87 octane...

 

It's a light erratic knocking sound caused by the gas and air firing as the piston is still rising. You won't hear it at an idle but you will under a load, like going up a hill in too high of a gear. It can be very harmful to an engine so you need to fix it soon if that's what you are hearing. Are you using a good high octane gas?

 

idk.. im just using BP gas.. fill it up regular [8D]

 

Did you advance the timing? If you did it will ping on regular.
