Default HELP!!!!!!!!!!

alright so i got my tri-ax shifter installed and now when i go to shift to 2nd gear it grinds instead of going in smooth. its not like i missed the gear, i still have the clutch pushed in and it grinds before going in. I even tried moving the stop point all the way out so it doesnt even touch it. This happens when i shift slow and fast. anyone got any ideas????

I don't know, that sounds odd. I have a tri-ax and had/have no problems. The only thing I could think of is that you some how ended up with the wrong shifter for your transmission. But I'm sure you would have more problems than just second gear if that was the case.

Default RE: HELP!!!!!!!!!!

i think thats what it is, i had my friend who is a mechanic drive it and he said that its cause someone has grinded the gears before and that i just cant shift fast and it will be fine, but if i keep shifting like that then it will just get harder and harder to shift into that gear
