Default FLASH20 OR ANYONE WITH A STALL

Does your stall actually stall at what it is supposed to?? I have a 2800 but its only stalling at about 1500-1800 when i punch it....Could it be low of tranny fluid?? And one person said it depends on the torque my motor produces...is that true??

Hmm weird. You might be low on tranny fluid, check again. That tranny needs a **** load of oil man. My took 8-9 quarts when I filld it up. Hows your stroker kit cming along?

nope it's stalling correctly. that's why i always tell people to get a 3000 Edge single disk lockup converter. they will stall higher. but not at 3000

converters are a torque multiplier. the more torque the higher the rpm'sthe converter will stall at because the torque allows slippage. lower power engines can't overcome the friction and thus stall lower. yes it's more complicated than what i explained but it's as close to laymens terms that i can do.

i have a 2500 stall and it's no different than stock. it was a waste of money. 3000-3200 Edge converter for the win

my advice....dont get one from ebay...i did and it was junk....spend the extra money and get a multi-disc stall....thats what im doing....they cost more but they aren't near as likely to break
