Default need some help with my girls car

ok i normally dont come over here but my girls car has me confused,

she is only getting about 160 miles a tank. i know here alignment is off and that is affecting it some but 160!!! my old GT with a stroker motor would get that. it has a k&n filter that i am going to check and clean this weekend, car is maintained but i cant figure it out, it doesnt run rich

any ideas for me to check? also since she got the car gas milage has went from 250-260 now down to 160 wheres it going?

Tune up:
[ol][*]Plugs[*]Wires[*]PCV Valve[*]Fuel Filter[*]Clean Air Filter[/ol]
You know the basics. It could also be a loose nut behind the wheel. That's my problem.

Is she doing less highway and more in town driving? I've never gotten over 19 mpg in my V6...It doesn't get to go on many trips...but otherwise, definitely try to get it tuned again...There has to be a good explanation as to why she would drop so far in mpg.

My V6 gets sweet mileage, about 20 around town and roughly 30 highway. If its running fine mechanically, ( no bad filters, running rich, etc. ) you might wana make sure you aren't just leakin somewhere. A friend of mine had a volvo doin the same thing but we couldnt find the source. Turns out she was sprayin fuel all over some wiring that ran through the car from a bad line. Could've ended up pretty bad. It didnt leak on the pavement or give off an odor or anything; no signs just bad mileage like you said.

Is it throwing a code?
I would also check the O2's if they have never been replaced.

replaced the o2 sensors last year, and did a tune up last fall. i am going to check the fuel filter this weekened to see if its clogged. i have asked her if she is driving it hard she said no and she said it shifts around 2-25k.

the car has 117k on it. almost all of her driving is in town.
any other tips are apprecaited. it baffles me on the milage though

Have you checked the tire pressure lately? Just being a few pounds low in one tire can make a difference and if all 4 are low even more.
