RE: hid's
yeah, thats ok, but you could get a cheap set on ebay for like $75 shipped and do it yourself.
But, dont put hids in a stock housing, it will create hotspots and blind other drivers. The mustang stock housings arent made for hid lights.
You need to get a projector housing or something like that for it to be optimum lighting.

RE: hid's
i have them in stock housings and as long as you aim them down a lil and not having them set so you can see 5 miles down the road which you could prolly do then you should be ok i just got my friend to park a lil ways in front of me then adjust them to where they are not blinding him
and if you get pulled over you can do like my buddy does and says look officer these are the low beams and flip to high and the dash light will come on and just tell him that you are waiting on the ballast for the highs or just get bi xenons and fogs and when someone flases at you flash all of yours back or tell the officer to step in front of the car and you will turn on the highs and just pull back to flash high and lows

RE: hid's
yea ur not the only one who didnt understand it[8D]
yea i say 150 is a good price for quality product and a quick installation and i think you will be fine with stock housings unless u just want projectors

RE: hid's
I want projectors but the ones Ive seen look like crap! its like mustang headllights are too long or weirdly shaped for the projectors, my headlights just started fogging up so it looks like ill either go with clearcorners w/hid's or maybe some projectors if I can find some descent looking ones... install is really easy especially if its just plug and play, it took me 20 minutes to install them on my girls tc, an that was because I took the front bumper off to hide the ballasts... $150 installed GO FOR IT!

RE: hid's
ours are easy to hide the ballasts
remove the radiator cover and their are 2 bolts sticking out that support the radiator just use the supplied hid brackets and find 2 nuts that fit the bolt ends or unscrew the ones that are in their already and just bolt it back up with the bracket in their and then put the panel back on and you cant see any of the wiring or the ballasts
