'96 mustang. i have a P1443 error code which reads EVAP vaccum system and/or purge and VMV fault. can anyone shed some light on the situation?

check out all vacuum/emission hoses for brittleness cracking leaking

I have the same problem with my car
is the check engine and gas cap light on?
I have a pinhole leak in mine
bring it to a ford dealer and they run a smoke test to check
