Default cowl vent cover

Do any of ya'll know if the cowl vent cover(this part: http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...1&comp=LRS) can be replaced without affecting the rubber strip that meets between the back of the cover and the windshield?

It's easy and it hurts nothing. It's only easy if you remove the hood first though. You should be able to swap it out in less than an hour, just have 1 if not 2 people to help with the hood.

i didnt have to remove my hood to pull mine off a while back. i just held the hood up real high..past where the prop rod would, and unscrewd the 3 screws with my other hand. the only reason i was sayn ill let you know how it goes is becuase he was wondering about the rupper seal that sits against the windshield..i would guess that it comes with it but maybe not...if it doesnt, then im sure its not hard to move over.
