yeah well i kinda already knew that so im wanting to know WHAT fuse it is cause i dont have a manual (and dont say the burned one cause non are) so a pic with a arrow would be nice

Go to kragens or autozone or advanced auto parts, what ever you have where you liveand buy a chilton book for mustangs. it should have eveyrthing in there.

its either #17 or 18 under the hood its one of the minis thats what it is on my 98

i can test fuses by taking a multi meter and checking resistance on the tops of them while ignition is off right?

alright well i got under the steering wheel and checked everyfuse with my multi meter and found the bad one. problem solved later on ill take a pic and point it out for other that have a similar problem

Did you ever solve this? I have the exact same problem and went through the exact same steps. Fuse is fine, connector okay, and the crazy thing is... sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. The power point in the console never works all the time but in dash is a 50/50 chance. Notably, after I drive again for awhile it starts working.
