ok i know l/t are the way 2 go i have an v6 03 mustang and my manifold has a very bad leak i was thinking l/t but i live in cali does anyone know if there emissons legal or where i might obtain info regarding that it will be exremely helpful cuz i really dont want shortys or is shortys an ok compromise plz thoughts and opinions will help greatly

i beleve that they r illigal in cally
from what i have herd. the best way to chek is go to a shop that does the emistions tests and ask them straght out if lt's will pass

They are not legal here.

I suggest a set of shorty headers just to make quick work of the problem.

If you decide to change over to 94-97 stock headers then you need to change the Y-pipe flange size and a few other small things. It would be best to have a shop do that for you.
If you just want the quickest possible fix then get a set of DOT approved shorty headers and be done with it.
