what would it take to beat a grand prix gtp?

 

my guess is not a v6 lol v6 arent made for power..

 

GTP's are supercharged. You're not beating one.

from what i can find they run like 14.9-15.1 in the quarter, so it would take a lot. the new GXP's will run low 14's

oh and im not sure what mods get you to what times so i cant comment on exactly what is needed...sorry

 

its simple.... you get a supercharger... you win....
other than that mabye a small block swap...

 

Depends on how fast his specific car actually is... but let's say it runs high 14's.

It also depends what car you have...

If you're a 5-speed 99-04, then you can probably catch him with most of the bolt-ons, t-loc, and gears. OR, you can just go with Heads/Cam or F/I.

Bolt-ons might not be enough if you're auto depending again on how fast HE really is.

There are a lot of variables that we can't account for... so it's tough to say without clearing some of them up.

 

I had heads/intakes, intake, pulleys, 4.10's and shiftkit and stayed even, then when i got in third i pulled. It was a 01 with "CAI"<haha, "Racing tires" and "3 computer chips". The heads and intakes i ported. This wasnt a one time thing either. Went to school with him and whoever could make it from our home school, to out trade school.... well just wanted to beat eachother.
