Check engine Light
Hi am new to this forum i really dont drive a mustang (wish i could afford one) but i have two awesome fords a SHO Auto, and a 1969 Ford Torino 428 4 speed. Well anyways back to my post. My buddy has a 03 V-6 today we put on a zex Nitrous kit and a air fuel ratio meter, Then the check engine light came on. we might of had the key on with no mass air i dont think it will do anything just trying to let you guys know everything. Then we get everything hooked up and we start the car and the light comes on (the bottle will be empty till tommorow) is there any way i can reset it or what should i do and is the zex a good kit, we also ordered Cold air and i am doing a TB for him. Also is there anyway to check the codes on an obd II Thanks for the help

Its a 1993 Red ATX with a Mass Air, Exhaust, Shift Kit, and thats it for now looking to rebuild motor and stuff like that. Also how do you clear the codes in the computer we are going to go to Autozone and have them check it out

Try disconnecting the battery for about 20 minutes or so. That hopefully will get rid if it. The only thing ive heard about the ZEX kits are you have to pay close attention to that solenoid box I hear the tend to stick open at times. Good luck with it. Keep us posted!

WTF?!?!? Can't use wet??
Man, you should be able to use wet on almost any car. If you're carbed, you can use it. If you're EFI, wether you have a fuel return line or not, you can use wet.
Fuel pump should be fine, but also, install an air/fuel gauge. You DON'T want it to get any leaner than MAYBE 12.0:1. Saturns are happy and healthy at 11:1 ish on the juice (for daily drivers that use it occasionally).
I'm damned curious as to why you can't use a wet kit....
