Ok as much as everyone likes to say divorced is better is only because their parents did it!

Now the truth about it is that you dont gain much power over divorced, only about 1-2hp. We have an even firing engine that has fairly ballanced exhaust gasses though variations still occur so having an H or X is a good modification if you plan on building more power later. The more power you make the better your H or X will perform for you.

Now, as for that price that is a freakin rip!

I had a 94/95 BBK O/R X-pipe modified to fit my stock headers on my 96' with the 00' complete engine swap. It only cost me $70 for them to mod it. I got the x-pipe for free but you can find them for about $100 or so, catted is a better option but cost more, federal mandates ya know.

My flowtubes,Borlamufflers and turndowns w/hangers were expensive. For a used setup I spent about $150-ish but that was it. Total my system cost around $225 and Borla has a 1million mile or lifetime warenty (Whichever happens first.)

Now for sound the H-pipe will sound deeper and more muscle like while the X-pipe will sound more like a euro-sport but not like rice. The X-pipe will yeild a slightly higher power output when massive modifications are applied but if your not making over 250 then choose which sound you like most.

Here is a sound clip of my setup w/o my borla mufflers.
My Borla's really tame the sound but its still great and deep.

You can do a lot better with aftermarket used parts then having a shop do all the work for you. Honestly I dont like the sound of Divorced as much as I do H or X.

Holy **** are you getting F-ucked. I think i paid like $250 for my first set-up and i supplied mufflers. The extra $100 for amid is about right but there is no point other than the sound. Unless you have insane amounts of power you dont have to worry about an X or H.

IMO i think X sound the best on the six. But much cheaper for the div. And you have no need for the x-h
