Default mach 460 sounds system bypass

ok so i installed some punch p1 12" subs in my trunk and a eclipse amplifier and a new headunit. and to get the bass to bump i gota turn the headunit up but when i do that the mids and highs also get really loud. which hurts my ears. so how do i make the stock amps STFU! i have a amplifier bypass harness for my 2000 vert but when i unplug both the amps. i still get highs and mids. but if i dont turn the amps on with the head unit (blue and white wire) i get no sound. is there like some third amp somewere? cause im at a loss here.

Cant you just use the equalizer on the headunit..or turn the bass levels up on the sub so you dont need the volume as loud to hear bass. Another thing is if their Punch Stage Ones you need to crank the volume to really hear them bump...The wattage isnt that high on those subs..

yes i know there not 1000 watt kicker subs, there entry level. and the EQ on the headunit has been used but since the mids and highs are amplified on the mach 460 sounds system turning the headunit up so it can send sound to the amp for the subs also amplifies the mids and highs so they are extremely loud. but i found the third amplifier. it was under the stock CD player and i ordered the bypass harness. so no worries.
