Hey i am pretty new to cars and have a very very basic knowledge. Everyone here seems friendly and helpful. I just bought a 2007 V6 and would like some suggestions on how to power it up a little. I read the previous mods post and thought it was great but i don't understand what exactly some of the parts do. So i will list the parts I am unsure about and if someone could give me an explanation I would greatly appreciate it. Please excuse my ignorance.

Any suggestions on were I can get the most bang for my buck would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is a CAI worth the loot. I was looking into the K&N Typhoon

gears will be the most bang for your buck out of those.

 

yep. get the gears, and a tlok or truetrac. (locking diffs). youll distribute power more evenly, launch better, etc. add an intake and an exhaust system, youll be happy for a while.

 

exhaust will only give you about 10hp max
the gears give you more boost and traction
id shoot for the typhoon cause it has great airflow cai dont give to much hp off its just a bolt on.
you should also look into a good suspension system steeda is what i went with and they havent let me down
also another cheap mod a rear seat delete will take a lot of weight of the mustang
