3:73'S OR 4:10'S
its really a weekend car,play around in it alot,i was wanting a set gears either 3:73's or 4:10's and an FRPP T-LOC,dont care about gas mileage. i want aceleration and top speed, DOES 4:10'S KILL UR TOP SPEED I HEARD THEY DO THEN I HEARD THEY DONT,THNX

general rule of thumb is 3.73s for stick, 4.10s for auto. most people with 3.73's say they wish they had gotten 4.10s....so id go with the 4.10s. i wouldnt worry about the top speed, one doesnt need to be driving around that fast anyway, and you wont hit top speed anyway in the 1/4 mile. if you plan on boost in the future, you might not want the 4.10s, but if you are staying n/a (or just the nitrous), i think youll be happiest with 4.10s.

the quicker revs will "top out" the supercharger, revving too fast will not produce full boost level...correct? (or something to the sort). seems like shorter gears would be even worse with a turbo charger, where boost comes at a high rpm level..

I ordered 4:10's from american muscle, cuz im not ever gonna use a supercharger nor turbocharger im jus gonna get a dry nitrous system probly between a 50 to 100 shot and its only gonna kick in when i have it at full throttle,i'll let everyone know if i like the 4:10's and the FRPP T-LOC. How do y'all make these cool *** pictures of ur mustang at the bottom of y'alls comments?
