Bump for ideas...I need some other ideas. I looked through the books and still find out what else besides what I've checked might cause this!

Have you checked all the fuses that could be causing the electrical problem?????

 

Could be possibly a headlight switch. My dash lights were doing the same thing. I would have to jiggle the headlight **** or smack the top of the dash to get them to work. Swapped it out and haven't had a problem since. I know on my 95 if the dashlights aren't working, neither are the taillights. Just a thought! Good Luck!

 

check fuse, switch. if its neither of the two. check for a bad ground, or a short.
