oh sorry i meant cam, im new to a v6...... im used to me old sohc 281.....

but any who, wouldn't a cam make alot of cheap hp??

Cam isn't going to do much without giving the air more room to move in the intakes/heads. Do all at once and net yourself some real gains.

Keep this in mind, the 3.8L does not respond nearly as well to mods as the 4.6L and 5.0 engines do. While cam(s) can add nice power on a V8 with little supporting mods, sixers need a little more secondary work.

But yea, if you can do everything yourself, then "cheap" power mod it is.

ehh i think i can put it in, but idk how to port and or polish..its right behind the water pump right?

Cam is aft of the water pump ... think 5.0L missing two sparkplugs.
