Default Radiator Fan Problems...

Hey guys I have started having a problem with my radiator fan and it has started making god awful sounds, grinding and squweaking and I determined it is the fan motor it self. Well I went to the local auto parts store and the have and new motor for $82 and a whole new assembly for $200 well that seems dumb to me and I told them they are crazy. Well I have found this at www.americamuscle.com and was wondering if it is a good deal...

Thanks in advance guys...

american muscle is a good place to buy from. dont know much about the fan but i would say go for it. pm one of the americanmuscle reps on this forum for a discount code and you can get it a little cheaper.

Just the fan motor is going out?
I would get that if it is just your fan. It is a pretty decent price and it is brand new.

I had a friend who decided not to fix his fan when it went out and he ended up cracking his heads. He wasn't to smart though. lol

Yea I have bought from them before and I got the code, I just want to make sure it has everything I need before I get it.

Yes it's just the motor but if this has everything might as well instead of just paying for a $82 motor. And he busted his heads because his stuff overheated.

My stuff works it just makes a awful noise and I heard it could possibly just be the bearings going out in the motor so....

I know how he cracked his heads. lol
What I meant was get your fan replaced before the fan fails completely and you have no enginecooling.

Oh I know, I just want to know if this has everything I need to replace it. IE: fan motor, I know it has everything else I just want to make sure that the thing has the motor with it before I order it.

Yeah it has what you need. You see the picture of it? The silver plate with the wire coming out of it is the motor. They even give you clips so that you can install it easier.

Well the motor finally went tonight and I cannot wait for the one from american muscle so I have to go and get one at the parts store and spend a fortune on it tomorrow. I just wish she would have lasted until thursday.

you'll do better with the store bought. I bought mine on-line and it was stock, a little cheaper, but you do what you can.
I didn't like the looks of the mushimoto, looked a little flimsy IMO
