Default Want the noise back!

Ok, before I had only two pipes straight from the converters with 3,5" tips, and I liked the sound. It realy wasn't like american muscle but it was loud and soundedpowerful. Now I just insert flowmasters (ones on the pic) and I killed all the roaring....can barely hear it. The pipes were 2,5 and the flows 2,25 and they had to cut them to fit, butI dont think thats a problem though. What should I do to getthe noise back?

Let me make sure I understand correctly.

You don't want your car to sound good, you just wan't it to be annoingly loud like the civics with cans?

you could get an offroad x or h pipe which takes the cats out and keep the mufflers and it will be loud again

no mufflers will hurt your mpg and actually sounds worse

yeah, i dunno about no mufflers. you must not daily drive too much? i ran a mufflerless exhaust on my old car, and while it sounded "cool" at first, a week later, i was virtually deaf. i put a muffler back on quick.

but, its your choice. good luck.

You don't have to take the cats out with the H, you're alright. Alot of people do, though.

The guy that had my car before me took off the muffler and it was loud but sounded ricey...my current setup of a custom h-pipe, gt takeoffs, force pros, and 3.5 tips sound A LOT better imo
