Welcome to the site.

I'm going to suggest the M112 as well. It would be nice to see another V6 Roush with one. It's cheaper than most other set ups forforced inductionand allows growth later on if you spend money on heads etc...

Get thoughts of a V8 swap out of your head. I've shown several times how you can make MUCH more power cheaper with the V6 as a starting platform.

Feel free to bug me with more questions.

Cai, Predator chip, 24lb fuel injectors, Lt headers , O/R X pipe, Flowmaster 40 series catback, 373 gears, Traction lok, a short throw shifter, a SSM-(Supersixmotorsports) Stage 2 Power pak-which is a Stage 2+: Ported upper intake, ported lower intake, Stage 2+ cylinder heads with 1.90/150 stainless steel valves, SSM custom ground CompCams billet camincluded: $2500* adds up to 80 horsesEveryone has a V8 keep the sweet roush V6 and build it up to spank V8s and get better gas mileage and pay less for insuranceThe stock bottom end of a 3.8 is around 300hp with a good tune-if you want build more horse power than that id suggest going with a SSM 4.2L forged bottom end which is $1500As for a power adder-id say supercharge it-b/c then you can still run both LTs and full exhaust which you would have to sacrifice the throaty sound if you went turbo
Dude, get out of here.

Dude, get out of here.

Agreed, you just listed over $3700 in parts (not to mention labor to install) to get to about 230hp or so. The M112 can be done for roughly $2200 or so, and you'llpush mid 340-350 to the wheels with just that and a fuel system upgrade. Even more with improved heads/cam.

And the bottom end will take MUCH more than 300 hp FYI.

he asked if he should drop in a 4.6l, that statement was to tell him no because he would spend several grand just to get a stock 4.6l in his car.

and 13's have been hit with a bone stock gt on streets with a pro driver

He was reffering to a stock 99-04 GT. They "can" run 13s, however, it takes an excellent driver to do so.
