LT headers????
MAC High Performance 2.5in H-Pipes 94-03, 99-03 For Longtubes
On the V6mustang website if gives me the option with Air injection and with out.
What dose that mean is that only for like Cal. I live in with Wi and im thinking i dont need it.
And one more ?
- Me and my Buddy will be Putting this all together
-Mac LT - Mac H-pipe
Why is it so hard to install do i have to Relocate anything
my Buddy has a lift and we will put it all together then take off and weld it

I don't really know what air injection is either - probably some BSemissions crap. Getthe headers from stangmods.com instead. http://www.stangmods.com/MAC-Headers...89-ceramic.htm Theyhave an option where you select your year and they take care of the rest so you get the right stuff. They have free shipping as well
. I ordered mine from stangmods and had them in about two weeks.I'm sure v6mustangstuff is a good company most of the time, butI ordered a foglight kit and it took them a over a month to get it to me.[&:]

Air injection comes out the front of the first primary, towards the radiator. you can see the bung in the pic, there is one on the other headder in the same location.
And the mac O/R h pipe has to be welded together on the crossover pipe, just an fyi.

they shouldnt be hard to install. it can be a pain to get to some of the boltsand the front 2 o2 sensors but it shouldnt be too bad. air injection is an emmisions system and you can look to see if you have it real easy. go open you hood and find the egr valve. it should have 1 pipe comming from it going to the header. for most cars, that is the only pipe there, if you have air injection there will be another egr vavle looking thing beside the egr and more pipe running to the headers. some cars have it some dont, i know know exactly why some do and some dont though.
I'd put on newexhaust manifoldgaskets as well just for good measure, here order two of them from this link:ex. manifold gaskets
Get two of them... latemodelrestoration should have them to you in little over a week.
From what I understand, you:
- disconnect battery
- remove oil dipstick bracket
-take off the air inlet duct
-disconnect the EGR
- remove the EGR tube from the pump and the pass. side exhaust manifold
- take out plug wires and plugs
- jack car up
- take out the O2 sensors.
- unbolt the pipes w/the cats from the exhaust manifolds
-unbolttheexhaust manifoldsfrom the heads
- get someone to hold up theexhaust manifoldswhile someone else unbolts and removes the old mid-pipe
- remove the pass. side exhaust manifoldfrom the top
- installpass. sideexhaust manifoldgasket
- slide/install the pass. side LT from the bottom
- remove the driver's sideexhaust manifoldfrom the bottom
- install driver side exhaust manifoldgasket
-slide/install the driver's LT from the bottom
-get a mid-pipe for LTs - if it's o/r, get some MIL eliminators from here: MILs
- get some O2 extensions here: O2 exten.; hook these up to the front O2 sensors so they reach the LTs O2 sensor location
- hook the MIL eliminators up to the rear O2 sensors (between the harness and O2 sensor(s))
- hook everything thing back up, don't forget the battery too
Take some pics with a digital camera if you need to before the install if you think you might forget where everything goes.
