Check Engine Light
My CEL came on when I was driving home from the city and I have no clue what could have caused it. My car seems to be running fine and there is no reduction in mpg's. My dad said it could just be a vaccum line or something. I dont really have the time to take it somewhere and get the code read. I think Im just gonna disconnect my battery until the computer resets itself and see if the CEL comes on again. Any suggestions would be great, not really expecting any since I have no clue what could have caused this.

i know i say this all the time, but ill chime in again. goto autozone or advance auto. theyll scan tool your car for free, and diagnose what the trouble code means, and can most likely sell you the part you need to replace (most likely a sensor) there. good luck.
well i live in the middle of saskatchewan, canada. exactly 2 hours away from 2 major cities in either direction... dont really have the time or money to drive there and my car could blow up and die on the way there. my brother in law is a mechanic but he works on GM's. **** do fuel injected cars suck... shouldve got a 85 Monte Carlo like i was goin to
