Default Intake manifold runner controller question

I am swapping out my 2000 engine for a 2002 engine. How do i deal with the intake manifold runner controller? Weld them open from the outside arms that control them? New computer? Have any of you had to deal with this?
Thanks

Yes, i could do that, but my mew engine is completely done. I would have to take it all apart again. A new comp wont do the trick?

That is an option. I am trying to find all possible options, so what if i got a computer harness from a '02 and a computer from a '02. Those connect directly into the engine wiring harness, right? Or, what if i just cranked open the IMRC's and clamped them down in the OPEN position? I am trying to avoid having to pull appart my engine again because its going in the car in 2 days.
Thanks
