Why did you list the thermostat or plugs/wires?

I wouldn't consider either of those a performance mod...[8D]
well because a good ignition system and a 160t-stat can give 5hp gain.
Sort of like a CAI adds 8-10hp? You aren't going to see any noticeable gains out of putting a 160 thermo on the car. It might not be a bad idea but it isn't going to give you noticeable hp gains.

A buddy of mine has a 98 and it only has like 90hp. His nitrous is turning off the ac when he is driving lol. Stock he has the D series single cam grocery getter. If he had a H22(vtec) or a B18 maybe but that doesn't come in a stock LX.
