Two more cylinders ahhkakk kahhh kah
No but seriously ..
I've hit a13.9 1/4on a New Edge with just mufflers and the 99-04 V6's are rated mid 16's 1/4
...I would say it would take more than a single power adder to make up 2.5 seconds on a 1/4

Heh, perhaps I don't when it comes to the V6 Though the time I looked up was for a vert..A coupe wouldn't be that far off..

A 4.2 with H/C/I might put you at enough power to beat a stock 99-04 GT. Best bet is just a blower. Stock V6's dyno at 165rwhp generously, so a 75 shot might put you there, too. It'll be a drivers race at that point. In order of ease of victory it's blower, nitrous, H/C/I 4.2.

Don't worry, you're pretty much right on the money. They're just going off the fact that a handful of people are talented enough to push a new edge into the mid 15s with a manual tranny and decent track conditions. Your average MFer that goes to the track has generally ran low 16s, high 15s on a stock edge.

As stated, to just "run" with an edge GT, you're going to need much more. The easiest way, IMO is to get a supercharger, you'll not only be there, but you'll be quicker than them, as well as the new Sn-197s.
