Default Window Tint

Irecently got my windows tinted today and I'm a little weary of the quality..... I bought the best film that they had and it was 30% tint... on my side windows theres little air bubbles... not very big but still noticeable... will these disapate when the glue dries or should I try to push the air bubbles out myself...or go get my frekan money back......I've got 5 days to let this dry... plus right now I'm on vacation in spokane Wa and I'm leaving for home tomarrow...

are you sure its air bubbles?

Water droplets will be left in the window for a couple days after the tint is put on. DO NOT put your windows down during that period.

if they are air bubbles i'm guessing try to squegee(sp?) them out or go back to the place and tell them to fix it haha..
it takes extra time to really make sure they get every air bubble out, so they may not have checked the car closely

nah, dont touch it yourself brother. make them get it out. be polite, but firm, and say it doesnt look good. they should be able to heat them out of it..but if you try to move the air bubbles out yourself, you might rip it. good luck.

I had similar things when i got mine done. I had what looked like air bubbles but i think it was just water. anyway after a few days, the sun warmed up the windows and the tint sealed and it looks great now. Give it a few days before you take it back...

Yeah...what he said...is what happened to me. Wait a few days, and it should look better.

+1

just had mine done 2 weeks ago. exact same thing. but he told me about beforehand. he said the high performance tint will be like that when it's first put on. it took 3 days of texas heat, and now it looks beautiful.

kinda sorta not really on topic, but what kind of tint is everyone going with these days? ceramic? i believe thats what i read what "best"...no fading or cracking, and it didnt interfere much with radio reception...is that correct, is that what one would "want"? im trying to get mine tinted soon..

the place i went to only offered regular tinting and "scotch" tint i think it was called... they said that only really the lambo drivers buy it... mine came out good with the normal tint and so did my friend's car
