Why in some peoples description of there car it says "throttle cable tightened"?....whats this do and wats the point?

...some of the 99-04s have some slack in the throttle cable, giving it a "delay" when you press the pedal. here is a link on how to "fix" it, if it bothers ya..

however, a lot of people dont seem to mind. ive got a 98, and it is not a problem with my stang. now, dont think its a hp increase or anything...just a quicker throttle response.

On a manual it helps a bunch doing heel-toe downshifts because the throttle pedal is much closer to the height of the brake pedal, I really liked it!

+1 love it on my 5 speed
quicker starts and more response but definately not a hp gain
