So im doin alot of stuff with my car now before summer and was wondering if anyone else could think of some stuff.. im not plannin anything toexpensive. what im lookin for is like horsepower bosters. but i wants the most bang for my buck.

So far i bought a UPR cold air intake system and a Performance chip. along with some accerories like short shifter.

oh and do anyone happen to know how much horse power my car has stock??

You put down about 150 to the crank, so probably about 130-135 to the wheels. With your mods, you are probably putting down 150 to 155 to the wheels now. And that's assuming that you didn't buy your chip off ebay.

The 94-95 V6's had 145 crank HP. They dyno at about 125 to the wheels. He has maybe 130 now with those do nothing CAIs and chips.

 

yes bys i did buy the chip off ebay but it wasnts one of those $10chips.. this chip was $50 and ratailed for almost 200

oh and the chip addss 15-20 horses and the cold air adds something like 20 horses

 

You are misinformed. Depending on the chip you bought(SCT?), you might be getting 5-8 hp from it(and that's if you're running a 93 octane tune) and your CAI adds practically nothing. Xemeth's guess of 130 is probably spot on.

Cold air won't add 20 horses either unless you have a 4valve breathing out of a stock straw with an m112 sitting on top (anybody know what car I'm refering to? lol).

You might have 135hp, thats with me being very generous. Welcome to the place to get informed.

Edit: Hey, my stock straw is still larger than ANY V6 aftermarket air intake.

 

you really have a stock intake, lil roush? i betcha a big, bad custom intake with one of those k&n xtream filters would net ya, like, 25hp with your set up.

 

I spin my blower to the max as is it, anything added at this point would lift a head off the block....again.
