Safe Mods
Hey guys,
I want to do some mods to my car. But I have a warranty on the car. I just want to know what are some "safe" mods I can do to my mustang to make it better. Like, what kind of bolt-on mods can I do so that if anything messes up I can just switch back the regular part?

just wait till the warranty is up then do you mods.
not worth doing stuff to cars to void the warranty save up for parts dont put them on then when the warranty is up slap them on and you are ready to go.

+1 Very good advice.
I think that most people would be a lot more satisfied with their car if they did that. Instead of installing a CAI then 3 months later doing an H-pipe and mufflers then 2 months later the Longtubes just do them all at once. When you do a lot of mods at once you can tell a major difference instead of doing small mods spread out.

He could always do visual mods or suspension mods. Put some rims onto it, lower it, new shocks/struts, rear sway bar, SFC, LCA/UCA's, new cd player, etc. etc. Little things that you want but that won't ruin your warranty.
Thanks for all the advice guys. I think I am just going to save up for the car parts, then slap them all on. That would be cool. Oh, and the warranty I got is all screwed up. I states "Warranty will not replace any parts for general wear and tear" How can they even tell?!?!?!?! And also states "Warranty void if any part is modified that is covered by warranty". So, anything the warranty doesn't cover, I can modify. And the warranty doesn't cover the exhaust past the engine. Sooooo, I can put at least a flowmaster muffler or something. Give it a meaner sound. I'm not sure. I think I'm just gonna save up for all kinds of car parts, then slap them all on there.
1) Take your time - there is no excuse for lack of planning
2) Read, listen, and learn - there's a lot more 'bench racing' out there than 'real racing', follow #1 and distill from other's success & failures
3) Shop around - you don't always need to buy the most expensive parts, but sometimes it costs a dollar to save a dime
4) Trust - know what you're doing before you turn a wrenchor find someone you can trust ... don't do the same job twice
