Ok so i think im going to need a new paint job, I have a 2001 mustang, what do you think about maaco? I thought I heard it was garbage but not sure. any help?

STAY AWAY FROM MAACO !!!!!!!!!

there cheap remember you get wat you paid for.

Try and go to a real body shop that isnt maaco ive seen some horrible stuff. plus maaco paint fades after 3 -5 years


My dad took his eldorado there the paint is peel off and faded !!

Stay away from Maaco,Earl Scheib or any of the cheap high volume auto painting companies.
This is where you really get what you pay for.

i had a car painted by maaco and it was great, i wound up getting it for 900 because of a good deal but according to their prices it was 1800. as i said i had no problems, no overspray anywhere and it all looks great

dear God, stay away from maaco. yes, i went with their "best" service, and their "best" service and paint lasted a total of 6 months before it began to chip and peel off. hmmm...thats 5 negative reviews, and one guy who says they were great, but no pics.

this one should be a no brainer.

my friend works for them and told me not to go to them

their main problem, no prepwork, do the prep work your self get it painted should be no problem

well i had mine for 3 months before i totaled it, it couldve started cracking at 6 months but i didnt make it that far

Wow thats some great advice... how much should it cost if i go somewhere for real? And what about just getting Maaco to do some touch up for some parts, if I do all the prepwork??? Thnk you
