like i said im a newbie so this is probably a dumb question but will the GT hood scoop fit a V6? just curious

From my research, you'll have to drill 4 small holes into the hood, and then it bolts on from there.

 

It depends what type of hood u got. 99-02 hoods u can but 03-04 u can't.

 

Also From reading Up On This There Are Two Types Of Hood Scoops, One Has Four Bolt Ons And The Other Has Six Guides and One Bolt If I Remember Right.....


But Yes You Will Have To Drill Some Holes But Make Sure Before You Drill The Holes You Put Tape On Your Hood So Your Paint Doesn't Crack! Also I Believe There Are Some Indents In The Inside Of Your Hood On Where You Should Drill...

 

oh ok so there should be 4 indentions on the underside of the hood that indicate where to drill the holes? and what is this about the tape?
