Default HELP - Skipping or Hesitation Problem

Help.
I am not sure if this is a V6 question or for all applications. Both my son and I have V6 convertible Mustangs. His is a 2001, mine a 2002. The problem started on his as a skipping or hesitation. Now mine has started. We have replaced the spark plugs and wires on both, but the problem continues. We have replaced the fuel filters, but the problem continues. It is most noticeable between 1200 and 1700 rpm, when under a slight load, up hill. But more noticeable with the air conditioner on. However, if you put you foot into it, the cars react perfectly. Both have cold air intakes. Could it be something as simple as a dirty air filter? Or any other suggestion?

No, But I will this weekend. Except for the obvious low fluid levels, what should I be looking for?

Please post your findings. Both our Mustangs (mine and my son's) have not had the "Service Engine Soon" light come on.

Your MAF(Mas Air Flow) sensor could need to be cleaned, it will behave like this before it does set off a CEL(Check Engine Light), at least mine did. Also make sure there is nothing stuck on your air filter or in the intake, believe it or nota large maple leaf somehow wraped arround my air filterone day and caused symptoms like this.
BTW your stang looks nice, post some pics.

I think this is a common problem with Mustangs. My 95 did the same thing, at the same RPM range with the A/C running. I had a cobra guy say his did the same thing under the same circumstances. I think its just a flaw from Ford.
