AND THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULDN'T TELL SOMEBODY NOT TO GET A MOD WHEN YOU DON'T GET A TUNE WITH IT.

I figured you were avoiding that question because of that. Now we don't have to have a world class argument. So to the OP get a cam, and get it tuned. a tune wouldn't be considered a supporting mod, its consideed a... TUNE

good point...but where not talking about r/t's 60ft's 1/8 miles' 0-60's or anything to do with drag racing anymore.....where talking about my power and my lack of tune......lol sorry i had to

Yeah well when somebody doesn't want somebody becasue YOU ran a 16.8 with a cam YOU should mention to them that YOU were and IDIOT and didn't get a TUNE.

well with some cam's a stall is required for an auto or else ur leaving power on the table that could of been made.

if the cam u had makes all the power high in the rpms and ur on a stock stall its pretty pointless.

also going with a big cam on a stock stall can cause cam surging

not everyone on this forum is as much of a genius as yourself....and actually justin starkey himself said that using the mail order tune for my cam would be just fine....and i ran a 16.8.....user error??? i did what i was told....maybe i should have asked for advice from the great vcs himself.......hmmm that needs some bold yellow letters
