Default NOS

I was reading some old posts and saw one about nos, a 75 shot for $399. Im not gonna lie, I really really want to beat all these GT's running around my town and I want to do it now. If you more experienced stang owners could give me some more info on this i would appreciate it. Currently Ive got ebay CAI, a straight pipe from the cat back and rims/lowering springs. Is there anything else I should do to maybe beef my engine up to handle the nos. Also how much does it cost to get a bottle filled and how long do they usually last?

A 75 shot n20 system is great on our V6's. It's not enough to fugger anything up, but it does gives you 75 hp's right out of the gate. Bottles come in so many sizes these days to fit anywhere, so the cost to fill is different, but my last Silverado with a 100 shot kit would cost 23 bux to fill and it would last me about a month if I used it sparingly.

I think one of the best priced systems for your buck is the NX system. But do a search for "Nos in a bag" (can't remember the manufacturer) it's a really cool and inexpensive system.
Plus if you go with a dry kit, you don't even need a purge valve so no one knows you even have NOS. [sm=smiley20.gif]........unless of coarse you like the chshhhhht chshhhhhtt sound.

What year is your V6? A 75 shot may not be enough. It's alot but not always enough to give you an edge. Also you're definately going to need a chip or something to run that safely.

It is 2000 V6, I've ordered my CAI and plan on getting 3.73 gears next after that and a 75 shot I'll be wasting GT's. And yea I want my NOS to be hush hush....V6 sleeper all the way.

careful now. if there's a lot of v8's on the road, a lot of them probably aren't stock. some of them may be posters on here with 100+ shots or a blower on it.

a local stang shop recommends NX and only installs those kits on stangs. one of the guys there even says you can take it to a 75 shot on an untuned GT safely. i don't know about that, but still. sounds good to me.

Looks pretty good for the price Almerick, but that bottle won't last very long. But because of the fact that it comes with a control mod, I like it. That is a very important item with our cars.
