I was wondering if anyone knew if there is a shaker system for the 3.8

 

The mach 1 Shaker? Yes, you can go to american Muscle.com and they have them for sale there. Its cheaper to do it yourself and modify your own adapters, but if you have more money than know-how then just buy the kit there. Its $800.

so if you buy the shaker system for cdc you wouldnt have to get a brand new hood. How is that possible dont you have to cut an opening for the shaker to go through. Or can some one explain how it would work with our stock hood cuz if its possible i might be thinking of getting it for my car.

 

99-02 you dont need a new hood from what they say. Youll need to get a square cut out of the hood that your car came with stock of course, but it comes with a template. 03-04 they say you need a new hood because it sayes the applique doesnt match up but which a lil custom work anything is possible, i have an 04 so i have to go the custom route... but once its done should look nice.

 

If you get the CDC without the m1 hood I think it looks _UGLY_

 

it comes with an aplique that goes over your stock hood. and yea they dont look that great without the real hood but the only way u can use the real hood is if you get the real shaker and not cdc's version
