Hey everyone I just shelled out some cash today and was wondering if anyone has the same setup so I can know what to expect after i get it installed. I got
1.) Mac Performance Mass Air System
2.) Mac Performance Long Tube Headers
3.) Mac Performance Long Tube H Pipe
4.) Mac Performance Cat Back Exhaust for the 5.0
6.) BBK Throttle Body

I Know its not gonna be a huge change in performance but was just kinda looking for somewhat of a idea so im not totally dissappointed?

Oh I also ordered
1.)Cobra R front
2.)Saleen Sides and Rean
3.)Black Widow Hood

I hope it looks good I couldnt find a pic on one with that combo anywhere! All together I spent 2200 got it all from Cuizin Concepts

Probably about 15-20 rwhp... you probably could have bought a used supercharger for 2200, not to bust your ***** or anything...

 

Lol na wasnt lucky enought to win the lotto, and I thought about the whole supercharger thing but couldnt find a good used one and wanted to change the apperance. Hopefully the kit i chose with the hood will look good i couldnt find a pic of that kit and hood combo anywhere!

 

6) Wasted $$$$

Good for most of it - I'll go 20 hp.

 

It's all counteracted by the weight and wind resistance of the body kitso ZERO gain.

I got a new NAME BRAND hood, front bumper, fogsand cobra skirts for around $800 shipped

And then my MAC mods were pretty cheap.

If you want the most out of that throttle body, get a ported and polished upper and lower intake, and an XCAL.

A drop will do you good too.

 

How much am I lookin at for the port and poilsh and where would i take it to get that done?

 

Prolly a machine shop. The price depends on the shop really.. and the gains would probably bebetter than what you got for a 1/4 of the price....[&:]

I wanna say around a grand for both. But that throttle body isn't doing much when the opening behind it is tiny.
