I got the pulleys because I was doing a guys satellite install today and he has a 07 V8 and his neighbor had a 02 cobra and they said the pulleys made a nice gain, not sure how true it was but they both had some mods done so I guess I believe em and will find out for myself.
So because two guys with V8s said it was good, you went with it. Gotta love that mentality.

As for tuners, I'd go with Justin at VMP and get it done by the best V6 Mustang tuner in the world.
If you want to have it done "locally", there are good tuners in MSP and Chicago. Pick which way you want to drive.

No the guys that told me the Magnaflow sounded better were the guys from this forum, they said the Mac sounded like crap. But the guy I did the install for and his friend just told me that his pulleys and sct upgrade made a decent gain. And Lil Roush I see you live in MN, where about? The guy i did the install for lived kinda by Brooklyn Park i think it was called Elk River MN???

I noticed the 02 Cobra too. lol

If the guy has an 03-04 Cobra and he did a pulley swap then of course he is going to see some serious gains since he is supercharged. If it is an 01 Cobra then he will still see some good gains due to the engine being a DOHC motor. The GT guy probably saw better gains than you will out of your V6. But from what I have heard the pulleys don't do to much to our 6's except for a bit on the top end.

Personally I would not have based my exhaust off of what a bunch of people told me over the internet. You should have went to Youtube first and listened to which one you liked the best and based your decision off of that. You are the one that will have to live with the sound quality, not the people over the internet who told you their opinions on the sound.

pulleys are only meant to help bottom end by relieving some of the torque loss from turning the accessories. They end up helping throughout the power band, but it's minimal.

I'm getting em though lol

From what I have heard from my friends with them they help in the upper range. I don't plan on getting them unless I decide to do nothing but full bolt-ons. lol If I do keep my car I am just going to go all out on it but if I don't then I don't really plan on getting them on my new car.

dm*mn, you guys are being a bit harsh with the new guy. :P its all good man, there is no "best" set up. everyone is gonna have their opinion, and what you think looks/sounds/feels good may vary from what another does. your set up will be alright. just keep reading old threads here first, and when you have some specific questions you can find answers for, some of the more experienced guys can hopefully give you the answers u need.

I don't think I was bashing the OP. I was saying that he should notexpect to see nearly as good of gains as a DOHC V8. And that he should not have bought his exhaust system based off of what a bunch of guys told him over the internet. If it came off as me bashing him, Sorry.

nah, i didnt think it was as bad as a bash, but i was just saying there is nothing worse than spending a bunch of cash on parts..or anything...and have a bunch of people say, oh, the stuff you got sucks, take it back, etc. but we are all still friends. to the op, post some clips, see how it looks/sounds when you get done. if the sound or visual isnt what you are looking for, eh, parts can be swapped out, esp. something as easy as mufflers.
