Default new tranny problem

well i was having problems with my transgo shift kit so i ended up just getting a stock valve body to put in my car untill i could work out my problems. After the install my car ran great. Nothing was wrong up untill today. now it is hesitating very bad and when i come to a complete stop the car goes out of gear and wont move until i hit 2k when it slams into gear and takes off. why would my car run perfect for 2 weeks and then all of a sudden start this??? it sounds like somthing to do with the torque converter not having fluid but i checked the fluid level and it was fine.

yea im on the stock stall......
my dad thinks that the pads may have dried up a bit from my car sitting for 2 days without trannyfluid but i cant see that causing too much of a problem.

the fluid is fairly new but it has also been removed 3 times and put back into the car. it isnt burt looking nor does it smell burt but i think im gonna check the valve body gasket, tranny filter, and i think im gonna change out the fluid with brand new stuff

Some gasket material or other foreign crap may have migrated into a valve causing sticking.
Or line pressure blew through somewhere.
How many miles are on this unit anyway?
