Default Clutch Problems

I got a 2000 with 127,000 miles so i know some things on the stang are going to start wearing off. I've been having trouble with my gears lately...Even when i press the clutch all the way in, i cant put the car into a gear sometimes. Its like i'm not even pushing the clutch in. I was reversing into a parking spot and it wouldnt let me put it into reverse, once i kinda muscled it in, the speedometer jumped as if the clutch pedal had not disengaged the engine. I'm not sure if my clutch pedalhas jus gained to much slack or if thegears are wearing away or what... Any help is apprectiated

you can adjust the clutch petal... so that you dont have to push it as far (in effect making it so that you can push it farther)

you could have also stretched the cord, which i kinda doubt, but its possible..

replacing a clutch isn't anything hard... i can get it apart and back together in a day in my garage... if you haven't done it before maybe a weekend... and a stock clutch packfrom autozone or advance is about 200

but if you can wait, you can ususally get good deals on performance ford racing clutches on ebay for about the same price..

sounds like a clutch issue i had the same prob. i changed the clutch and it went away. have you tried to adjust your clutch? if not with the car off pull up on the clutch pedal till it stops and push it back down. then see how it is.
