Tuner Unlocking

How hard is it to unlock a tuner its a Xcal 2.

go to SCT website and DL software...LiveLoad I think.

i know but u cant do it untill the previous owner set the programer to the stock. Thats what i heard.

SCT will unlock it. An SCT dealer was going to unlock it for me but the car wasn't returned back to stock settings so the dealer is not able to do anything. SCT will actually make it like new.

they will most of the time but it will cost you. last time i looked (quite a while back) it was about 200 to have one unlocked from sct.

It used to be 50 bucks to get them unlocked but now with everyone wanting to buy them used, they jacked the price up to 150. It's still not a bad deal considering they sell for 379 new.
