Default Mod ?'s

Ok so all my performance mods I got are installed now. So a few questions i have are
1.) When you get a p&p what else should you have done at the same time (like heads, ect...)? and if you go with the windstar Intake do you do the same thing?

2.) When getting a nitrous kit what else do you need to buy seperatly from the kit (like purge kit, bottle warmer, ect...)? and what kit is good for the 3.9L v6?

3.) And as far as replacing your stock brakes with a better brake kit what kits are good and do they come with everything needed to do the swap?

Thanks for the info guys

1-itd be probably cheaper to do ALL of the top end work at once...supersix has those powerpack packages, that come with better flowing manifolds, heads, and a new cam. fairly reasonable for good gains.

2-i dunno. :P

3-what you want is the 1000.00 brake upgrades from americanmuscle.com. for 1000.00, you get a COMPLETE brake changeover, for the front AND rears. new cailpers, new rotors, new pads, new lines, and new hardware. on my old four banger, the same kind of upgrade would have cost double that. with those, you should stop on a dime, and theyd look real nice under the wheels you have now.

good luck.

Look at how the air flows through the engine. It goes into the upper intake, then to the lower, through the heads, stopped by the cam, and out the exhaust; you can upgrade every part i just mentioned for the best flow and better numbers.

1.) When you get a p&p what else should you have done at the same time (like heads, ect...)? and if you go with the windstar Intake do you do the same thing? For the best gains you should always do heads/cam/instake, or intake/supercharger, or intake/N2O. But the exact course you take is up to you.

2.) When getting a nitrous kit what else do you need to buy seperatly from the kit (like purge kit, bottle warmer, ect...)? and what kit is good for the 3.9L v6? Window switch and purge kit are really the only two extras you "need" the other are a convenience.

Cobra brake kit and get drilled/slotted rotors. The rotors will wear the pads down quicker, however the stopping power is unbelievable.

Thanks for the info guys

First of all, Get rid of those horrible wheels.......J/K man lets not get that **** started again........

1) if you want to port, the port the intakes, heads, and possibly the throttle body all at the same time (i think you can get a tb from a 96-04 gt to work on it too)....A cam would help out a whole lot too when you p&p....and if you have your heads off to port you could put new valve springs on it for the cam. And roller rockers if you really want them....kindof expensive for a 10 hp gain at most.

2) For the N2O kit, make sure your kit comes with a window switch....im sure most of the kits do, but mine didnt. Purge isnt neccesary but helps clean out the lines, and triples your cool factor lol. you dont have to have a bottle warmer either but it would help. Just make sure you get a tune for it or you will go boom.....AND TRY NOT TO TURN 8 GRAND lol

3) I am still running stock brakes but when i change i will probably go for the cobra brake kit. The mach 1 is also good. But if you want to spend alot of money you could go with Baer, SSBC, or Brembo....but the cobras or mach 1s would probably be just fine for you...in fact, if i am correct i think the cobra brakes consist of some brembo parts

There ya go man thats about the best i can do

The Cobra brakes come with two front Brembo rotors, however, I went drilled/slotted for best looks and stopping power, however, I kept the Brembos, and stock 11" rears just for backup.
