Default Please need Help.......Tranny....

I am new i here.

an auto 01 v6 vert.

When going on an incline even if only not a very steep incline the tranny does a pause go pause go pause go. Its like a half or full second kicks but I feel it yet if the road is at level it will no do that. Like last night I felt it on the highway on incline it would do that but when I put more gas at the flat parts of the expressway no problems.

I am hoping its not the tranny cause afraid it could be expensive not sure though how much does it run for approx.?

Could anything else cause this.?

Need some advice.....

Is the transmission shifting gears? I don't really understand what you are asking.

The transmission does shift gears it just on incline going up it pauses a half second and then power continues during that half sec power stops.

maybe trash in the fluid or valve body, flush trans. MIGHT work. has it always done this? gradually gotten worse? incline going up? incline going down? incline to the side? what do you mean by "power stops"? the rpm's keep going up at the same time? then it kicks in?

good news was thinking it might get worse so I took it to ford and found out tranny fine but one plug is fowled and one coil needed replacing. They took it for a test drive to determine if I need the tranny fluid change but said was not that causing the problem and since it was there told them why my e-brake light not working since I cant operate my top without it.
