okay, my window switch took a sh*t. I need to get my window(drivers) up until I can get another. is there any way to manually crank the window up with a tool or jump power to it to make it go up? any help would be welcome. thanks.

 

Nope, you can either remove the motor and pull it up/down by hand, however, when you hit a series of bumps the window will slowly fall down, not a lot, but about 1/2" is what you'll get, so you have to remember to pull it back up once you get home.

You can already pull the window up/down with the motor in place, however it's a lot harder to do.

The motor is very easy to take out. Take off your door pannel, get the proper size socket, don't remember the size right now, undo the three bolts from the front that hold it in, then it will fall out. Then just unplug it, pull it out the door, and that's it, shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to do the whole thing.

 

I would just rebuild the window motor or spend the sixty bucks and replace it. When I rebuilt my drivers side, I went ahead and greased the regulator as well, it was getting a little stuck at the very top. Greased it up thoroughly, and boom, nice and smooth and faster than before. GL

 

Turn the key on, push the switch to make it go up and whack the **** out the door panel and it will go up. The motor is stuck, mine did it once, I hit it and it went right up and never got stuck again.

 

LoL, I used to do that to before I fixed it. It will usually do the trick, I used to smack the top of the door panel and boom, it would go up for a little while.
