I noticed it this morning. When my rpms raise and drop there is a loud whining noise coming from what looks like the upper right pully. It gets louder and faster with rpms going up. Also, when im at a dead stop, and a turn the wheel either direction with the car on, the noise is even louder then when im driving, and the floor vibrates. Il post more soon, any ideas?????

 

is it your power steering pulley? im guessing it is, since it makes a louder noise when you turn..

 

i was thinking that until he said it vibrates the floor.... idk if the power steering would do THAT much

 

it was the power steering fluid. I have a leak in my lines

 

^^ Well that sucks! At least you found the problem and it wont drive you nuts for much longer.

i was so pissed i was already on craigs list trying to find a v6 jeep to trade in for my 6er. Its an easy fix, so im not worried. Still might try to get rid of her again though...

Speaking of whining and noise, something was squeling under my hood on the passenger side. I had no idea what was that and thought it was something serious. However, it was just CAI...it wasn't screwed tight after getting my LTs installed, so I fixed it easily. Sometimes it could be something minor but can still look asit's a big deal!
