Default Installing transmission, help.

Saturday morning I'm going to be pulling the old engine and transmission on my 1995 3.8L. I'm planning on pulling the engine and trans together, putting the old trans on the new engine, and dropping it in. Does anyone have any suggestions to help this go more smoothly? Are there any tools I can get to help get things lined up more easily? Thanks.

the best thing you can do is after you get it out and are ready to install the new trans is to remove the torque converter from the engine fly wheel and install it in the trans, do this by putting the torque converter in the trans and turnong it until you feel it go into the pump, make sure it goed all the way in, then put the trans on the engine, it will go on easily with no problem, then bolt the torque converter to the fly wheel through the inspection plate on the bottom of the trans
