dude you should have flipped through the pages of this forum cause since ive been a member there literally been over 50 to 100 post about guys and girls with v6 looking for which one is better but the only thing youll get is a bunch of people argueing over which one they think is better without getting any real anwsers.

gt guys will tell you to go with 4.10s they give more push for takeoff
v6 guys will tell you about the same even though most of them have gone with the 3.73.

either way yull notice a diffrence.

and good luck if it were me id go with the 3.73s i like to be diffrent from everybody else but then again that was before i wrecked my car... and before i dropped the new 5.0 in it about a weeke ago

and by the way get a t-lock when you get your gears and a rear end rebuild kit they arent exspensive but if your going to do something in the rear end you might as well fix the entire thing and be done with it.
it isnt exspensive probably cost you 1k tops if even that i got mine done for about 300.
good luck and goodbye.

p.s. so you dont ask later down the road
DONT GET NEW HEADERS yours are one of the best ones youll find for your stang just get the exhaust kit whichever that may be if you havent already and dont upgrade to aftermarket headers.

later dude.

good luck

**** if i owned a v6 i would be throwing in 4.30s that would def make it way more fun to drive. this should be a debate for 4.10 vs 4.30

3.73s are weaksauce for a v6. for a v8 its a lil diff cause then u get into the whole 4th gear top out issue. but yalls speedo pegs at like 120 anyways...so who cares lol.

430 ftw

EDIT: and just so where clear, i have 410s..wish i would have got 430s....

He just asked a question. No need to jump all over him. Personnally I would run with the 3:73 especially since you have a 5spd. Also, you will lose about 2-3mpg if you go with the 4:10s
