Default sliding way too much

I have a 96 vert.
Every once in a while, it's neccessary to get on the gas when turning right into traffic out of a parking lot.
For some reason, the rear wheels tend to slide out on me WAY too easy. What can i do to make it stop? my tires are almost new, my shocks/struts are new, and my brakes are brand new. I have no problem correcting and straightening it out, it's just annoying.
Will a gt sway bar fix it?

lol
I know wut u mean...
I took an exit ramp off I45 at 4 am when it was just a LITTLE wet and spun 3 times...
Didn't hit anything...
And I WAS goin the speed limit...
Wasn'teven that sharp of a turn...
Also managed (unintentionally)to drift through a stoplight turnin onto that rode that goes by san jac central...
SoI've got the same problem...
Just be careful is the best advice I have...
lol

my neighbor (builds cars, drags his 500hp camaro) says that it's just cause it's such a light car.

my tower braces helped keep it straight after i installed them. car felt a lot more rigid. lowering it would help. wider, stickier rubber...and the driver mod. all of those should help correctthe problem.

lol at the trans am.
mine spin easy.
it pretty much only slides when i floor it on the takeoff, the street i have to drive on has the worst traffic ever and sometimes you have to jump into the tiniest gap in the traffic.
I'm lowering it 1.5".. after i change out the tranny this weekend. maybe tomorrow night i'll do it while i've got the car lifted for the tranny swap. will 1.5" off my height be lower than the tops of my tires? i'm riding 17" rims.

a.) stop getting on the gas so hard when making turns
b.) get better tires*
c.) get a posi*

Those are a few options.

He's right, the mustangs have always had light rear ends, and VCS is correct as well, get a posi rear end, it will distribute the power evenly, watch out though, if you aren't used to two wheel spin, it will feel a little different at first. You will have to get used to it, once you do, you'll never go back to a one legger! [8D]
